We have a snack manufacturer that is a new venture, they’re selling the snacks to major retailers within the United States under their label, and it’s being manufactured overseas by a factory for them.

The challenge that we had was that we really had no history and from a product liability standpoint, they were considered high risk. Our office found out that the manufacturing facility had a very large product liability policy from an international carrier.

We got ahold of it, and even though it was not U.S. domicile policy, we convinced our carrier to use it to mitigate the risk and lower the cost.
